Scaling up stagnant sales
The brand’s in-house team had tried their hands on every possible test to scale but could not find any clarity on how to scale up plateaued revenues. At this stage they were generating less than ₹10lakh a month without a clear picture of where additional spends were required to reach their aggressive targets. Our job was to revive their plateaued stage and increase their sales velocity on Amazon.
Gaps in product shipping and advertising strategy
On completing an audit of their account, we realised the following issues:
Products were shipped from only one city without optimised distribution as per industry standards.
Shipping methods included both MFN and FBA depending on the category.
The campaigns weren’t organized in a way that allowed for smart budget allocation based on how each audience segment or campaign type was performing.
Product detail pages (PDP) lacked high search volume keywords diminishing scope for improved organic visibility.
Scheduled product launches lacked go-to-market (GTM) strategy from the advertising aspect.
Align actions with objectives
Once the goals were defined, our execution began by registering the brand with other Fulfillment Centers (FC) in India to access multiple FBA centers and ship through them.
While our logistics team handled the inventory side, our advertising team compiled a list of high search volume (HSV) and purchase-intent keywords to refine product detail pages.
With products now ready for advertising, we optimised our ad campaigns into a coherent structure that allowed performance to be analysed at a glance. Further, we differentiated between branded and non-branded keywords, ASINs, and product categories to scale revenues with clear data points validating our direction and strategy.
